Battle is undertaken by entering commands for each turn. There are several attributes for weapons and enemies, and each weapon’s effect varies depending on the opponent.
If an enemy is attacked with a weapon it is susceptible to, damage will be increased.
Additionally, if the attack is made by a character proficient with the weapon, vital strikes are possible, killing the enemy in a single attack.
On the other hand, if you attack an enemy without an effective weapon, damage will be minimal.

You can attach devices called bits to your weapon.
By attaching a bit to the weapon, you can use the special technique inherent in the bit, and gain additional effects including attacking multiple enemies at once.
Also, as the game advances, you'll learn to make bits evolve into more powerful bits at the Temple of Space-Time. Place the bit and a magical stone at Temple of Space-Time in the past and collect an evolved, more powerful bit in the present.

For Aeon Avenger, the effectiveness of a weapon against an enemy’s attributes is key. Even with strong weapons, you may have a hard time in battle.
At the weapon shop, you can get information about the dungeon where you’re headed. Based on what you learn, choose the most effective weapons, considering your bit capability and the balance of the party. |
