Archetype Arcadia

The name of the full-dive online game left in Rust's world.
By logging in, it is possible to suppress the progression of Peccatomania
which is known as incurable disease.
In the game, players engage in battles using Memory Cards, and those who
Game Overed lose their rationality in the real world.
Even in the collapsed world, energy is somehow supplied, and the service continues.

Peccatomania (Original Sindrome)

A mysterious disease that spread worldwide few centuries ago.
Initial symptoms are nightmares, and as it progresses, patients suffer auditory
and optical illusions even during day time.
In the terminal stage, they develop intense aggression and harm others.
This resulted in the collapse of human civilization.

Memory Cards

What players' memories have turned into cards.
Players manifest unique Avatars based on these memories and fight each other.
If a Memory Card is damaged, the player actually loses that memory.
If all the Memory Cards are damaged, it will be Game Over.

Rust

Voice Actor: Dan Harada

The protagonist. He was on a journey with his little sister, Kristin, to find survivors, but in order to save her who has not returned from the game, he started playing Archetype Arcadia.
Although he does not suffer from Peccatomania that causes auditory hallucinations, he is tormented by mysterious hallucinations saying
"Stay detached." whenever he tries to enjoy something.

Kristin / Sti

Voice Actor: Yun Oguri

A lively girl who is Rui's little sister.
She is playing Archetype Arcadia because she has developed Peccatomania, but she genuinely enjoys the game world.
She is registered in the game under the name "Sti" and also is the Master of the Playtime Guild. Something about her is off supposedly due to her damaged Memory Cards.

Altia

Voice Actor: Rika Ino

The Sub-Master of the Playtime Guild, working to make all the players guild members.
Despite being a cool woman, she shows a mischievous streak such as making Sti (who has lost her memories) calls her "Big Sis" only because she wanted to be called like that.

Allegro

Voice Actor: Chihiro Nishimori

A strong-willed player aiming to clear the game. He is ruthless, but also has a lonely side.
He believes that only just are needed in the world and considers Rust a good person, but he calls himself an evil.

Olive

Voice Actor: Rino Ninomiya

A girl rescued by Rust in the Snowfield Area.
She refers to herself as "Olive" or "she/her", speaking in a peculiar manner as if observing herself.

A cute girl with a calm atmosphere who decides to help Rust for a reason.
She uses a precious Avatar with healing powers.

Chyrel

Voice Actor: Yuka Nishiguchi

A player who protects the village of Alchemian in the Ruin Area. She becomes Rust's teacher in battles.
Her teaching policy is strict, but she is kind at heart and shows an expression of concern when she sees Rust struggling.

Lia

Voice Actor: Ririko Uchida

A player aiming to be the strongest. While she has a gentle personality, she changes her hairstyle and personality during battles to immerse herself in the Memory Card.
It seems she serves Dom voluntarily and not subordinately, but...

Dom

Voice Actor: Rina Koiso

A player who controls the Volcano Area. Always composed. He sometimes goes to the Ruin Area to run a Battle Corner and recruit challengers.
Controlling the Volcano Area means restricting the movement of the other players, and there are suspicious rumors about him.

Katrin

Voice Actor: Rie Okamoto

A girl who belongs to the Order of Sunlight Paladins. She helps Rust who invaded the Industrial Area.
Always cheerful with a smile on her face, but she is persecuted in the Order for some reason.
